Sasha Singh Thompson Counselling
Integrative counselling to support people who are experiencing emotional struggles or difficult periods of life.
Hi, I’m Sasha. I have over ten years experience supporting children and families to improve their happiness and wellbeing.
My particular areas of interest are trauma and adverse childhood experiences. I work to help individuals and individuals involved understand, process and move past these experiences. I am passionate about supporting families during difficult moments and helping parents understand how to support their children during and after challenging periods.
I am a qualified therapeutic counsellor, a member of the BACP and am fully insured. I currently have limited spaces for clients seeking a therapeutic space to explore their thoughts, feelings and experiences. This can take place online or face-to-face in Cookridge.
During sessions, we will work together to make sense of the thoughts, feelings and behaviour experienced. I work in a person-centred way, drawing in other modalities or tools as appropriate for each client.
I don’t seek to advise or direct my clients, but support them to feel comfortable and empowered in their lives.
I am a mother of three children, a teacher with 13 years experience and a Senior Mental Health Lead. These roles also inform my practice. I understand how hard it can be, at times, to wear the different hats required in modern family life.
If this sounds like a good fit for you and you would like to discuss how we can work together, please email me at email@example.com. We can then arrange an informal, no-pressure call to see whether counselling is the right route for you.
